James Layton, MD
Anesthesiology
Dr. James Layton is a board-certified anesthesiologist specializing in pediatric anesthesia. He completed medical school at East Tennessee State University and has over 13 years of experience. Dr. Layton carried out his residency training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and his fellowship at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiology and is passionate about serving in medically underserved areas overseas. Dr. Layton spent several years as Staff Pediatric Anesthesiologist at CURE Ethiopia Children’s Hospital where he grew both professionally and personally.
